IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We accept patients with fever or other symptoms suggesting infection, whether or not they have visited us before. To reduce transmission risk, we separate these patients from general care by space and time. Please call before coming.
With the patient's consent, medication and health-check information obtained through online eligibility verification is used during consultation. We promote use of the My Number health insurance card and medical digital systems to improve care. An itemized statement showing billed medical-fee items is issued free of charge with the receipt.
Depending on the patient's condition and the physician's judgment, we may issue prescriptions for 28 days or longer or provide a refill prescription. This may not be suitable for every condition or medicine.
For routine inquiries and appointment changes, call during clinic hours and select option 3 to reach reception. Option 4 is the director's direct emergency line; during clinic sessions, the director may be unable to answer immediately.
Telemedicine is combined appropriately with in-person care, and we will change to an in-person consultation when the patient's condition requires it. Psychotropic medicines are not prescribed during a first consultation conducted by information and communication technology.

From June 1, 2026, when a patient chooses an original medicine for which a generic is available, an additional charge equal to one half of the price difference plus consumption tax applies, except where the original medicine is medically necessary or another exemption applies.
Ministry guidance in JapaneseStandard smoking cessation treatment is available for patients who meet Japanese health-insurance criteria. Smoking is prohibited throughout the clinic and its grounds.
ACCEPTED FILINGS

Clinical information obtained through online eligibility verification is used during consultations. We promote My Number health insurance cards, information sharing between medical institutions and free itemized statements.
With patient consent, test results and imaging information are securely provided to or reviewed from other medical institutions and used in care.
We appoint an infection-control lead, train staff, maintain a clinic manual and share information with partner hospitals. Patients with suspected infection are accepted regardless of previous attendance and are separated from general care.
We participate in OASCIS, the clinic version of J-SIPHE, and continuously monitor infections and antimicrobial use.
We regularly review antimicrobial use, assess whether treatment is needed and work to prescribe appropriately.
A system is in place to respond outside clinic hours to urgent health concerns from established patients. For routine inquiries and appointment changes, select option 3 during clinic hours. For emergencies, option 4 connects directly to the director.
For eligible patients, pacemaker data is reviewed remotely as part of planned follow-up.

OUT-OF-POCKET FEES
We explain the service and price in advance and obtain consent before charging any item not covered by public health insurance. The main confirmed charges are listed below.
Weight management: from October 2026
From October 2026, our weight management clinic will generally prescribe Zepbound, which is approved in Japan for obesity, rather than Mounjaro, which is indicated for type 2 diabetes. Monthly prices will be revised because medicine acquisition costs differ.
Zepbound is a tirzepatide medicine approved in Japan for obesity. Possible adverse effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain and loss of appetite; serious adverse effects such as hypoglycemia, acute pancreatitis, gallbladder disease and intestinal obstruction have been reported. Self-pay treatment is explained in advance and provided only after consent.
