Infection control

The clinic director serves as infection-control lead, and every staff member participates in preventing healthcare-associated infection.

We conduct staff training twice each year to reinforce core infection-control principles and current knowledge.

When influenza, COVID-19 or another transmissible infection is suspected, we provide a separate care space and route from general outpatient care.

We maintain an infection-control manual based on standard precautions and require all staff to follow it.

We work with regional core hospitals and regularly receive information and advice to strengthen our procedures.

Antimicrobial medicines are used appropriately in line with guidance from Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
